Welcome to Grove Park

AUGUST 2015 ---> Check out our new FACEBOOK PAGE *** HERE ! ***

Hello and Welcome to the Grove Park Neighborhood Website. Whether you are researching our neighborhood, a new resident or an old friend, we are so glad that you are here today!

Grove Park is a Charlotte neighborhood of tree-lined streets, lakes, and friendly neighbors. Consisting of over 450 homes, we are a diverse neighborhood of people from all walks of life. Some of our residents grew up in this neighborhood, while others come from as far away as Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Our residents are healthcare workers, business owners, homemakers, retirees, city workers, bankers, university professors, and teachers just to name a few. But we all have one thing in common: We love living in Grove Park.

There are many reasons why we love it here. Most houses are built on large lots with mature trees. There are various types of wildlife. Ducks live in our lakes and deer roam our wooded areas.

We are also conveniently located 15 minutes from the Uptown and 10 minutes from UNCC, we are close to area businesses, yet quietly tucked away off WT Harris Blvd. But by far, the best thing about Grove Park is its people!

Many residents participate in one or more of our community groups. We have an active Neighborhood Watch Program that is vital to keeping our community safe. In addition, we have the Grove Park Neighborhood Association. The Association is voluntary with no covenants. It's purpose is to keep us up to date on neighborhood and community issues, be a voice to local government concerning our views, and provide opportunities for neighbors to get together. Finally, we have an outstanding Garden Club that promotes neighborhood beautification, including an award for Yard of the Month and a Spring Garden Tour.

Please feel free to explore our website and our neighborhood. Use the TABS at the top of this page to find a list of GP Service Providers, local Government Services, GP Newsletters, Photo Galleria, local retailers, newcomers page, etc.
